Mustang Football Season Ends with Recognition

The Mustangs played their last game on Friday against Springfield High School. It was an elimination playoff game in which the Mustangs lost 27-14. The support from the student section was amazing as usual. Senior Davis Ruccio said, “I am really going to miss the electric feeling the student section brought. It felt great knowing how much our support meant.” Our seniors gave it all they had this season, and the team ended up with a 7-3 record.

Senior football player, Ellis Rampy, said, “I am going to miss blocking for my best friends under those Friday lights. The realization of not being able to play football again has not fully sunk in.”
