Congratulations to Ally Nicotera who was recently named as a Semifinalist!

Ally entered the National Merit Program by taking the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test(PSAT/NMSQT®) — a test which serves to initially screen approximately 1.6 million entrants each year who meet  published program entry and participation requirements.  Of the 1.6 million entrants, some 50,000 with the highestPSAT/NMSQT® Selection Index scores qualify for recognition in the National Merit®Scholarship Program.  Of these, only 16,000 nationwide are recognized as a Semifinalist. Way to go, Ally!

Four other classmates who are being recognized as National Merit Commended Students are: Rebekah Edwards, Garrett McQuain,  JT Paul, Kayla Perry.  Only about 3% of students taking the PSAT receive this recognition.  These Mustangs represent the pride of Lipscomb.
