Baseball is in full swing here at Lipscomb. According to senior Andrew Farrell:

“This season has been different from the last two years because we lost ten seniors from last year, and we are a very young team with only two seniors. Things started out slower this yes because there was a lot of new people playing but have gotten a lot better lately though because we have started getting used to playing with each other. Next Monday we have a big home district game against Maplewood. ”

Head Coach Ernie Smith also had this to say,”The Mustang Baseball team has shown marked improvement since the beginning of the season. Last year’s team graduated ten seniors. All of them played. So this year’s team is very young and inexperienced. But that has changed a lot in the last month. The team has been eager to learn and shown great effort. We are looking for more growth and improvement for the rest of the season.”
