LA’s Coming Home celebration is unlike any other year. First off, the theme is Sock Hop, which is a reference back to the classic times of the 1950’s poodle skirts and leather jackets. To put a twist on things, Lipscomb is hosting a Sadie Hawkins dance after Coming Home, Saturday, January 23rd at 8:00 pm. So, girls go find the man of your dreams and ask him to the dance!

Congratulations to the Coming Home Court.

Miss Lipscomb is Tori Thurmond.

Mr. Lipscomb is Logan Campbell.

Senior Representatives are Ally Presparé and Matthew Smith

Junior Representatives are Elizabeth Grogan and John Thomas Paul

Sophomore Representatives are Maddie Lillicrap and Jake Stafford

Freshman Representatives are Alexandria Peterson and Sam Colley

This year’s Miss Lipscomb, Tori Thurmond, is a beautiful person and wonderful friend to everyone. Tori is a Lipscomb Lifer and plans on attending the university to study nursing. She’s the only child of Michael and Melanie Thurmond. Tori plans to graduate from high school and college, then hopefully travel all over the world.

Mr. Lipscomb, Logan Campbell, has been at Lipscomb since sixth grade and plans to attend Freed-Hardeman University to study biochemistry and Spanish. His parents are Tom and Susan Campbell. He has two brothers, one older brother named Jacob and one younger named Clay. His future goals are to pursue dentistry, become fluent in Spanish, and maybe even become a part time missionary.

Congratulations to the court. Tori and Logan truly represent the best of Lipcomb’s student body.
