Over Fall Break, I went to Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights. This annual spook fest contains nine haunted houses, five scare zones, and uncountable horror characters wandering the park. Each haunted house is inspired by the scariest movies and TV shows of the year. This year’s houses included The Walking Dead, Insidious, The Purge, and even Alice In Wonderland.

Throughout the park were various “scare zones” filled with characters ranging from scary clowns to evil woodland creatures to even horrifying, grotesque versions of your favorite characters from classic movies such as The Wizard of Oz, Snow White, and Shrek.

The inescapable horror throughout Universal Studios makes for an incredible experience of monsters, gore, and fright, and I would definitely recommend it.
